With proper attention, your plants will thrive for many years. Below are some general guidelines, but note that you may need to adjust watering schedules and placement based on the conditions in your home or office.
STAGHORN FERNS are epiphytes, meaning in nature they grow on other plants. We mount our staghorns on wood and surround it with moss, mimicking their natural environment.
Water - these ferns like a combination of misting and soaking. Use a spray bottle to mist the entire plant. For soaking, place the mounted plant in a basin and all to soak for 10-20 minutes or run water over the root ball until it is fully saturated. Over- and under-watering is a common issue. At first, try 1 x per eweek in dry, hot times of year and once every 2 - 3 weeks during cooler months. You can adjust the schedule based on the amount of light, humidity, and heat the fern is exposed to.
Light - bright, indirect light
Special Characteristics - these are cold-hardy ferns, but should remain indoors when the temperature is below 50 degrees or above 100 degrees.

PRICKLY PEAR CACTUS will thrive in the following conditions:
Water - only water when soil is wet
Light - full sun is best but can also thrive in bright, indirect spaces
Special Characteristics - if you can get beyond the spikes, this cactus is a great source of fiber and vitamin C!
POTHOS will thrive under the following conditions:
Water - water freely in the growing season but take care not to overwater
Light - bright, indirect light, but will also do well in
Special Characteristics - great for improving your indoor air quality!
AIR PLANTS will thrive in the following conditions:
Water - thrives in humid environments, daily misting should do the job otherwise, give them a good soak 1-2 x a week
Light - bright, indirect light
Special Characteristics - they grow without any soil and are pretty low-maintenance.
